How do we make our self-offering more acceptable to God?
The goal of The Spiritual Combat is to lead us to spiritual freedom. We strive to be free of the power of bad self-love so that we can offer ourselves to God and His service. As we draw to the end of the book, however, Fr Scupoli wants to help us make this self-offering more perfect.
